Seriously. I’m having Dark Tower flashbacks here. Honestly, I think this thing will most likely just stay in development hell for a few years before quietly getting shelved. No way this is happening before the series has proven itself.

I’ll bet dollars to donuts this thing only happens if the Amazon series is a success. If it turns out to be a giant Game of Thrones style success (which is....overly optimistic I think) this movie prequel trilogy probably will eventually happen. If it gets canceled after it’s contracted two seasons the movie will rot…
