One person on Jalopnik who actually gets it! Two wheels BETTER!

Now playing

I’ve been to Barber, and I’ve been to the Louvre.

Did the locals laugh at you when you pronounced Puyallup wrong? Its a thing we do.

Wrong generation Bronco. Found instantly in my area. This one looks to be in good shape from a distance and is pretty cheap. 5-10 years ago it was like half that price. Not exaggerating my friend bought a 5.8 Eddie Bauer in good shape for $3,500 in 2015ish

You should really try and get to Barber if you’re able. It’s incredibly fascinating. What I think really does it for me is that there are museums that are incredibly stand-off-ish in opulence, and then there are museums that are just outright hoards meant to take in everything you can. And the later is what the Barber

The $5k is just the entry ticket that wins you the privilege of making limitless in-app purchases.

It’s $5k for a reason - no one will touch it.

Yep. The unneeded “Lucite” pushes it all the way, doesn’t it?

If he was driving a dirty, dented and rusty Bronco II that would be barely believable. And I said barely, because Bronco II’s have also appreciated from having to pay the junkyard $50 to remove it, to $5000+ for OK examples.

No hat tip to Rob for making the same observation in last Tuesday’s NPoND?

This has always frustrated me with movies and TV shows. The problem is they are using cars that are so old that they’re generally only owned by enthusiasts and people who have the money, time, and skills to maintain them. I mean I guess to the general public old cars might seem like something for The Poors, but when

Most non-car folks are just going to see a clean, but very old, no-frills 4x4, and have no clue how much a Bronco in that condition can go for now.

Id buy that if I can make them all pose this way....

Although Birmingham, AL is kind of out of the way for most people.

Batman: “Robin the toilet is clogged.”

Not complete without....

If I were to have a genuine bucket list, Barber would most definitely be on it. The current plan is to go to the Barber Vintage Festival one of these years and make a week (and a bit) out of it. (https://www.barbermuseum.org/barber-vintage-festival/) Of course I’ll need to figure out how to bring home all of the great

Insufficient labeling as far as I can tell.

Existential question: Assuming you live in a two driver household not affluent enough for a personal mechanic, how many cars crosses over from, “I love having all of these wonderful cars to enjoy”, to “These cars are a burden, and I haven’t driven some in years.”

Seriously?  Not one?  *sigh*  Ok......GOOD NEWS!
