I have a ‘07 987 5MT and I completely agree.

Yeah, after watching the trailer, my only thought was “that’s the point.” I think it makes the whole thing that much creepier, that a guy who is charming and handsome and not setting off peoples’ internal “creeper or weirdo” alarms was capable of so much evil.

Yes, this seems like a pretty straightforward telling of the Bundy story and his relationship. It’s gross and uncomfortable because that’s who he was and that’s how the story played out.

This is exactly right. I worked with a woman who knew him, and she said he was very attractive and charming, and did not come of creepy (at least on the level she knew him) in the least.

But wasn’t the whole point that Bundy was more than “vaguely likable?” that is how he was able to victimize so many woman, by getting them to trust him.

This guy fucks.

Agree. I also live in LA and DD a Porsche (though one with A/C). There’s more than a few who have killed the A/C in their air-cooleds and I just don’t understand it. Part of it I suppose is that the A/C really wasn’t that great until the 964 but it still gets VERY hot here and part of enjoying a car for me is not

I feel like I’ve posted this before, but here’s mine in almost the same spot :-)

987 & 981 Cayman.

I would have kept the A/C. It’s hard to drive fast suffering from heat stroke.

What you view as a liability, I view as a virtue.

FUCK CARBS! (and i’m not just saying that because i eat keto)

As someone who has watched vintage bikes climb in price, all I can say is.... don’t be afraid of used. Don’t go really old, but don’t be afraid to shop bikes that are 10 years old... most are still pretty good. and a little bigger can’t hurt.

Honda CBR250R. A better all-around bike than the Ninja 250R. Everyone thought it was the second coming of Christ when it came out in 2011. Good ones are well within your budget.

43 year old rider here, 26 years on bikes, I have probably owned 25 or so. You’re thinking in the right direction. The Ninjette (go for the 300), the Yamaha R3 (slightly better IMHO), and the Honda 300/500 class are great bikes! Don’t buy something silly like an exotic (KTM, Ducati, Etc.) and don’t buy something old

I ran a motorcycle school for years. There are some common pitfalls to avoid:

Jesus people. If this were cars the answer is always Miata. Since motorcycle, the answer is sv650. If budget allows then the answer is fz07

I recommend that you take the course *before* you buy the bike.

1/50... Let’s keep it going.

Can confirm! I got my license back in June 2018 and have purchased 10 motorcycles since then!
