As a fellow tech-loving rider... I’m actually kinda sorta for this, but not for the stated reasons.
As a proud and happy CB500F owner...
There are already a slew of people in the comments making the common mistake of blaming a lack of funding for this problem, arguing that this represents yet another example of America failing to invest in infrastructure.
This is actually the analogy I use the most: above the “stripper scooter for pizza delivery” category, all bike purchases are aspirational.
My imagination can believe all the crazy speculative sci-fi in the world, but I can’t believe that’s the future skyline of Detroit.

Glad to read that comparison— I just test rode the Scrambler this past weekend, instant affection for it. I know the SP is quite a bit more expensive, but if it came down to a Scrambler versus this, is it worth another year of saving pennies?
Glad they caught the references to The Thing— I recall geeking out during the film when I spotted them— but the biggest reference at all wasn’t visual: Hateful Eight reused Ennio Morricone’s score for that movie as well.
The B-21 Linebacker.
