Mary Shelley is proof that we all have the potential to write one great book. Unfortunately, she wrote more than one. Sorry, but The Last Man was Gothic Romanticism at its worst - if you were to produce a modern version the cover just needs to read "overindulgent middle-class emo hipsters."
Ahh, but I grew up with this incoherent rubbish (and a couple of Tom Baker stories). Fond memories of Nyssa, Tegan and a soft spot for Turlough. They proved you can still quite easily have more than one companion at a time - and that romance with the Doctor is completely unnecessary.
OK, so maybe I'm just grimmed-out by the Dark Knight trailers, but this looks a little more fun. With this and Dredd we may be getting some entertaining, no-brain-but-thinks-it-does films soon.
As ever, I love Bolland's cover, but I'd prefer it without the ad at the top.
Yeah, I'm missing the immediacy of being able to scroll through every comment as we used to. OK, you can see what the most recent comments are at the top of the comments section, but it feels like a step back from what it used to be.
Hmm... well, you could do something with that, I guess... he's got some black goo, at least.
I can't really agree with you there, seeing as the original writer and artist were channelling Dirty Harry Clint as their inspiration.
Cutting and pasting what I wrote to GORNmagazine: Thank you for posting this. The Happening? That's the best people could come up with? Sheesh.

As far as 2000AD's twitter account has been saying, the full trailer's released tomorrow - I presume this is just a clip from it to try and generate a bit more interest?
I think you're confusing LV 223 and LV426 there. The dead engineer in Alien was on a different planet in a different ship.
Nice. This post just reminded me of, ironically enough, the Scott expedition to the Antarctic:
Cheers for that - didn't reply last night as it was late and didn't want to try and read through your impressively detailed reply without the aid of caffeine!
True, and I appreciate that. What I'm not so sympathetic about is repeatedly linking your page in every single comment you make. Sometimes twice.
Whilst I'm loving the debate and some of the theories that have been posited, I'm surprised no-one's really gone along the lines of Gnosticism.
Is this the fourth or fifth link to your website within this thread? Once more, and I'm sorry, but I'll start asking the mods to get involved. Comments are great, but advertising is a bit cheeky.
I'd love to know how sex with somebody infected DIDN'T infect Noomi, but did leave her pregnant. And then, the 10(?) hour pregnancy when she is hosting an alien creature in her womb - connected umbilically - also fails to see her infected? Odd. If Holloway can drink the stuff and get infected, the small amount of…
Not bad stuff, but my problem with one of those points in particular is that somebody might have noticed Jesus was a 10 foot tall mesomorphic wax-faced guy and mentioned it in the Bible.
