Now I know which walrus John Lennon was singing about.

It was also nice to see an io9 alumni getting to try the suit out, though I'm not sure if Graeme knows that, with great power, comes great responsibility...

Doc Brown wouldn't even be here for the smack-down if a time traveller hadn't prompted him to wear a bullet-proof vest. I call shenanigans.

@Annalee Newitz: Did anything happen with that State of the Art film someone was going to make?

@queensowntalia: Well, yeah - they are subjective, so maybe I shouldn't have argued so vehemently ;)

@queensowntalia: To be blunt, there's money in it - English is spoken by more people (especially in the developed world) than any other language on Earth. Your audience is much bigger.

@Plague: You're peaking early, Plague.

@queensowntalia: An insult to who? The author (who the director seems to have a good dialogue with and will benefit financially); the previous group who adapted the book and already have the plaudits and profits or the audience who can choose to see it or not?

@Curse_Your_Sudden_But_Inevitab...: Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying she's a great actress, or even that I think she's hugely attractive, but the main reason for the hate seems to be that she's a pretty female.

@Annamatopoetry: I really hope this isn't the start of another Megan Fox situation... I honestly don't understand the negativity from (male) sci-fi fans that surrounds attractive young women.

@corpore-metal: It is a money-saving exercise, I think - it's just that it costs a lot less in the long run to mass-produce robots than it does to train troops - training costs thousands (well into 6 figures for pilots) and robots don't need food, clothes, new kit etc...

@Charlie Jane Anders: I'd like to add my love for that episode, though that's more down to Zoe in her catsuit than anything.

There's some really nice stuff there - I like Pia Guerra's take on the TARDIS and the love for Paterson Joseph.
