I’m not sure what your 240HP is in, but my DD (at 4,800 pounds) has 365HP and 350TQ and sometimes I wish for more. Mine is right around 300hp turbo, 360hp N/A (altitude sucks). @ 3200 lbs or so. That’s the sweet spot. Plenty of power when you want to do that, but not overwhelming. My ZL1 feels like too much at times. My 350Z felt a bit weak at times.

I agree with you. I find myself pushing cars that have the least power the most. At a certain point this power increase needs to stop. My belief is that we are getting near it, kinda like what happened in the 70's.
