I daily a 76 datsun 280z with a ls swap .. However my car really doesn't do sideways too well. What did you have todo to the datsun to get it to slide well besides the LSD.. As you know the Z car doesn't have much turning radius.

You and me both feel the same way. I daily a 76 280z with a LS swap and T56.. Every time someone tells me I've got one of those but it's a ZX Turbo I lose all respect for them as bad as that sounds.

So Nissan/Datsun was sooooo excited to bring a new Z car out that all they did is overthink everything ! The S30 chassis was everything a good sports car needed to be. Balanced , Reliable, Affordable , and was even quicker than the porsche's made in the same time. The 280zx ... not so much.

Bahaha Well I don't have any intent on buying a POS like this the LS Datsun I have is fine. 5.3 all aluminum with T56 in a 280z cost me around 8k with the car. . Doing all the work myself.
