Well if you take a look at the pictures above you may see that the TV was placed at the top of the stands on the back straight . Making it easily higher than the wall in turn 1 . and also pretty much facing the TV south towards alliance airport and eagle parkway which is about 2 miles away.

Well to rebuttal your Statement . If you are driving down eagle parkway (the most north road of alliance airport) you can easily make out whats on the TV and its insanely bright .... Thats about 2 miles away give or take ..

As far as I know they have not.. I feel that its hard for a local news station to "knock" Texas Motor Speedway .. They have done a lot for the community and creates lots of jobs . So to knock the speedway for a huge TV that just cost a crazy amount of money would be some serious drama ..
