thats a good point .. I have a close friend that races IMCA Modified and from what I understand the car they are running has the ability to Lock the rear diff while moving then you pretty much just stay in high gear . I want to say they are running a C4 trans but I have absolutely no idea if I'm wrong or right ..

I was expecting to hear he pinned in the turns a gear down... but no. A gear up and feathering the throttle just like a drift car .. that was a pretty interesting video
