I have to say Kotaku, you guys (or Jason specifically) have been pretty harsh with the game. A lot of insinuating accusations of stealing artwork, etc. probably didn't help him decide to leave it up.

You will have to fight random battles to get past bosses, whether you're fighting them normally, as you progress through dungeons, or in batches, grinding outside of a town. If you decide to do the latter, make sure to speed up combat (with the right and left directional buttons during battle) and make liberal use of

I just re-sub'd about 5 days ago. I've been playing off and on since launch but never so much that I had nothing to do. I've got every alt possible and only 3 that are 80+. The game still provides plenty of enjoyment for me and some friends.

How is SimCity 4 for someone who has never played a SimCity game? They look pretty complex and would this be a good place to 'jump in' and see if I like it? The price looks good.

Why should Apple care? They make money, the devs make money... what's the problem exactly? When the cluttered mess becomes an issue and they stop raking it millions upon millions, they'll do something about it.

"Ripped Art" =/= "Art inspired by..."

Stupid question of the day: Why is dying such a big deal in games like this and DayZ? You die so much in other games, can't you just respawn and start over like normal?

However, it has been 30 years since Nintendo started its business of dedicated video game systems, and if I want to maintain that size for the next 10, 20 or 30 years, leading a software-only business would only put us at a big disadvantage, which is another reason why we insist on our integrated hardware-software

I know I'm splitting hairs here, but since you have to buy ESO just like any other game, why does it get a pass on the PS+ requirement as opposed to say COD? There really is no difference in that you have to buy each game outright and then you can play online. Maybe because ESO is online only whereas COD has it's

Ah, so this part, "because it's got a subscription fee of its own" in the article was incorrect? Either way, pretty cool for them to do this. Hope it brings in a few players.

Wonder how this will change once the game goes F2P like most people envision it will.

Very odd that the person that won the auction was also the person that made the very first bid. Only the first and very last. I smell someone not wanting to sell but oh boy those eBay fees... :(

That's just the type of game my parents would have easily thrown out when I was younger. I wonder how badly it was treated over the years because it sure doesn't look pretty. Amazing the price has climbed so high...

The more I read about all this stuff, the happier I am that I never got bit by the Candy Crush bug. I tried it but it just didn't grab me. I love supporting games where I feel the developers are honest and trying to do a good job. I would have hated myself if I'd paid x amount of dollars to a company like King based

Now playing

Just watched this video myself. It's a bit old but shows the gist of the game fairly well.

Now that's a damn smart idea to get the word out on your game. And a pretty cool tie-in to boot. Kudos to this guy for doing this. I like it.

From 9 million Wii U's to 2.8 million? Shit, that ain't good. I have one and I'm the only person I know who has one. After the Wii launched, it seemed like everyone I knew had one. I've had more than one relative ask me why the need to buy the 'upgrade' model if it's just for a gamepad. :(

So I see with the Humble Weekly that if you pay $6 or more, you also get the DayZ mod for Arma II. How does this compare to the solo game that's making all the news?

*reads title of article*

I saw what you did there... I think...
