Thanks, I'll still give it another shot. I haven't deleted anything and honestly wasn't planning to. I just wanted to see if I gave it enough time. I think I was way off with time spent though, it was more than 8 hours. I already had my Jaggi set and was working on one or two beyond that. I was at a completely new

Well then I'm well past the 8hrs, I just did an approximate based on what I remembered. I've killed numerous Jaggis and have a complete Jaggi set of armor. I was working on either the next set or the one past that. I'll have to double check my hours invested now...

It did move slower than I expected and maybe that is some of the frustration. I will say when I'm in my groove and killing stuff pretty effectively, it's pretty rewarding. But between those rare occasions, for now at least, it just doesn't pull me in to come back...

Thanks, I'll give it another chance and journey online. Seems to be pretty overwhelming that most say it's a welcoming environment. I just hope to hold my own... I hate being "that guy" who can't do shit. LOL

Yeah I'm starting to see that, ha ha.

Thanks! And yeah, I went with Dual Slicers myself first and foremost. Heard that was a good option for a complete newb.

I might have to look at my time because it might actually be higher than 8. For some reason that's what initially came to mind. But I'm pretty sure I got through all the tutorial stuff and was working on my 3rd set of armor. It's not bad by any means, but it just didn't hook me... :(

Thanks, I'll try to give it more time. I figured 8 would be a good amount of time but judging by what others have said, apparently not... lol

Yeah I'm gonna give it another chance. I'll try to journey online eventually and just give it some time. I always expect to either do a great job or not... I hate settling for so-so. If that makes sense...

I have tried, tried and TRIED to get into this series and I just can't. I really want to, it seems like an enjoyable game from what so many have said but when I play it, there's just nothing hooking into me to keep me wanting to come back.

Thanks, I'll give that a download first and hopefully get a better idea. Appreciate it!

Okay... how is Spelunky fellow Kotakuites?? I'm really on the fence here. It looks like it's something I'd enjoy but I keep reading it's incredibly punishing. Is it punishing in a good way, like Demon's/Dark Souls?

haha, well done.

If that's too hard to read, here it is again... sorry about that.

This probably wasn't their smartest decision...

Pretty sure this will change very soon...

I certainly can't answer with any authority as I'm no lawyer but I'd have to imagine it all has to do with how it's advertised and what it truly does. Does it break any proprietary code in doing what it does? Does it come with any type of software that allows you to emulate the software which violates any laws?

I don't know if I'd say it doesn't matter at all, I think it certainly can sell systems. Many people do base their first purchase of a console on the specs because that goes a long way towards the potential for its future, etc. I know it's something I definitely look at and consider. But I agree that software and

But this was before anything was announced, they both simultaneously built very similar systems before any of the info was public knowledge.

Exactly. He's not too terribly over-technical and it's all pretty interesting. Right now it's over my head but I just nod my head like I agree and understand.
