Yeah, from what I've seen of the trailers, it all looks a bit excessive. Like their market research recommended covering too many demographics. I can probably cringe my way through it, but the controls will decide this for me (all looks a bit robotic) - time will tell

which one is funnier?

It might be $15, but that doesn't mean it's worth your time. You can spend $15 for a lot more entertainment, if you want to factor in price. You can buy Metro 2033 Redux for that price. Or Terraria. Or Saints Row with a crap ton of DLC and have money left over for Starbucks in the morning. Or buy a book. Or a three

I think a lot of you guys who are saying 'Eh it's not that bad for $15' are completely missing the point that (if you believe the review) it's a bad game that wouldn't even be worth your time if it's free. 'Makes you so angry you want to microwave your controller' is worth negative dollars.

I just don't agree. What you're describing is how I felt about the first Dark Souls too, until I started paying attention, reading up on it, watching lore videos, etc. It's always there, it's just never obvious.

I just finally started using eneloops, and they are fantastic, and a lot cheaper than I expected!

I don't use "normal" NiMH any more, the LSD ones are much better for my needs. If there's any significant differences between the Eneloops and AmazonBasics, it isn't very apparent in everyday use. I have Eneloop, Eneloop XX (last generation, definitely not as great in storing charge over time) and both the black and

I am a massive Dark Souls fan. I literally have fun thousands of hours into the series and am anxiously awaiting Bloodborne. That being said I was disappointed with the 3 DLC's as a whole. The second DLC was the only one I really enjoyed and I had issues with that also.

Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I think his collective tweets are all the evidence we need. He is hardly a victim here.

Asshole sums it up quite nicely. I don't get how people just from one extreme to the other. Upset about something? Contact Steam and discuss. Eff that. Lemme just threaten the head honcho.

What a complete egotistical jackass. Don't know if he realised that there are many hundreds of devs who'd kill for his product placement but he has to go nuclear over what would be a simple fix.

Perception and reality are not necessarily one and the same. Common misconception, especially by the insecure.

Good to know the people issuing death threats have a champion and a person willing to excuse their behavior.

I've gotta ask what value "the movement" here has in the first place. They've done near fuck all for games journalism, and seem so preoccupied with feminism and women in general that bullshit like this is becoming more common place as a result.

What if he did!?

Interesting point you make. That could indeed be a possibility, but what a terrible way to go about it. People should not have to fear for their lives so that someone can make a point.

I'll just wait here for the #notallgamers crowd.

I'm a gamer. I have been for thirty years now.

I'm also a heterosexual, cisgendered white male—and while I sometimes have questions or concerns about Sarkeesians methods and research practices, her message isn't off the mark at all. She's onto something, and I think

...because a threat of violence against one's person is totally a valid marketing tool.

Got it.

My apologies. I meant the USU student who has threatened the whole committing "the deadliest school shooting in American history". Among the many other threats that she has gotten. It really is getting out of hand, no?
