It's their opinion, and just because something is free doesn't mean it doesn't suck. And telling someone who's job is to critique and analyze games to not over think seems a bit ridiculous. They literally get paid to think about games (amongst other things).

I feel like half of the fun of the Mario Kart series is screaming at the screen - especially when you're playing side-by-side with someone.

The sad thing to me is that even with all of these games, the Vita still feels like it's on life support. These games just don't have the kind of staying power to keep the system relevant, and that's been the Vita's curse for nigh-on a year now: it's getting games, but they're all either playable on another platform
