I dunno why, but I kinda get the feeling (from gameplay videos and the demo) that Ninja Theory is trying to give DMC a very 'Bayonetta' style, in a way that there is layers of randomness at times that slides together in an obvious self-mocking way.

I would be fine with it coming with every system, optional and useful in some ways (I do like navigating the Dash using voice commands), but if they decide to do tiers of consoles (Elite, Pro, etc.) and only the high-end system included the Kinect follow-up, then my worry goes back to the launch being splintered…

Sure. I mean, just because it hasn't been announced officially by Activision doesn't mean it wouldn't go to next-gen consoles. It's just that they can't announce games are coming out for systems that haven't even been announced themselves yet.

I don't have an issue with Microsoft wanting to go into their next console, but I have concerns about them shoehorning Kinect (or Kinect 2 or whatever) to be a major focus for it's launch or lineup.

Activision is currently publishing it for the 360 and PS3, they did a press release.

I could easily see Microsoft releasing their next system even with the 360 still being quite strong sales-wise.

Destiny it set for the 360 and PS3. Promotional art and marketing for the game confirm that.
