I disagree with a major part of your argument, which is that $5 is a significant enough barrier to entry to worry about. I mean, obviously it is mathematically significant (400% more!), but it is still a trivial amount of money for most people to spend (in line with what someone might spend for lunch one day). I paid

To the people saying this hardly looks better than PS3 games:

Is this your first new console generation? It has been like this for every new console cycle since we arrived in the 3D area.
Playstation 2 Launch:

That's still one of my favorite comics. that controller was HUUUUGE.

Also, count me in for the PS3 camp, I've loved the dual shock controllers since inception. I've never gotten used to the Xbox's offset joysticks, i always bugs my thumbs. That being said, I don't play FPS games on the console. KB+M 4 Lyf.

You can play with a controller, on your couch, upgrading as often as you would buy a new console, and mod as easily as clicking a button. Upgrades aren't a yearly requirement like some exaggerate and steam big picture is a couch focused interface for steam.

You could sit down at your couch and just play a game with a PC too.

i have really large hands and my thumbs never touch, you're holding it weird.

Or maybe it is that Justin Bieber looks like a 14 year old girl...

With a decent network connection and hardware with enough RAM and CPU power to accommodate all 3 tasks.

My PC can do several things at once with ease but not any of my current consoles. Hence why it's so frustrating when my 360 shuts down downloads if I'm playing a multiplayer game..

Nobody said it was a bad idea for Xbox One. In fact, that feature is one of the few positives people have gotten out of the whole ordeal that may actually benefit consumers! Of course it's also tied to some weird 30 day thing that sounds like a hassle.

Getting TitanFall for PC.

Wow. I don't always have a lot of sympathy for publishers when people mount a Metacritic protest, but I'm beginning to think they need some kind of code gate on that site to prove you actually bought the game. It's getting to the point where the user reviews are anything but.

I think paying for alpha and beta access is preferable to $15 bite-sized DLC made from the pieces of material cut from the game because they couldn't get it in on the original budget and all the free-access beta testers said was broken.

"$90 for a cheapo, bug riddled hunk of crap. The makers are con artists and don't deserve to be allowed anywhere within the gaming industry. They should be shunned, they should be removed from all game stores."

People are dumb. Somebody will always be mad. End of story.
