I play on a G-Sync @1440p with my 980 TI that plays everything I ask of it beautifully (most games above 60fps, and thanks to G-Sync anything above 40 feels super smooth).

I’m in the same boat. I downloaded the beta to try with a friend, but had no real interest in the game. Once I’d played for an hour or so, though... I just couldn’t stop playing. After 20 hours of beta this weekend, I realized that I clearly loved the game and pre-ordered it.

Thankfully, this has not been my experience so far. I suppose it might work out that way if you have a much slower connection, but it hasn’t’ happened for me (yet).
