You can play with me, Frosty :) I wouldn't mind a bit playing some bot matches with you and answering any questions you have.
I agree with ToxicBunnies. Also, if you meet people, or know people, that already play... getting on voice chat with them (vent/mumble/skype/steam/whatever) is immensely helpful.
I've found the community less hostile than many games, personally. I've had little to no trouble. When I do have trouble (still fairly rare), I report the player; I love seeing a message pop up a few days later that lets me know they took action against some asshole that I reported =)
Doesn't the fact that it's not region-locked mean you'd be able to play games from any region in it?
I could be mistaken, but I believe that HDCP is mandatory these days for HDMI playback of blu-ray discs. The only connection option on the Xbox One is HDMI, so I would wager that it will use HDCP encryption for it's signal.
Who are the people that looks like regular, not dressed up, comic con attendees at 2:29? I assume they're supposed to be dressed like something specific to make this video, but they look just like normal people attending a con to me.
Observation only, no official statements from EA (and you're not likely to see one).
It finally dropped from $60 to $30 on Steam, but it doesn't go on sale. EA only allows the Origin version to go on sale, as it's the platform they want to promote.
Steam ads for games is simply the store page, which is the default page (that you can change to another page, such as the community or your library).
My local Steam doesn't try to force used games I don't want, Accessories, Magazine subscriptions or pre-orders on me every time I walk in the door. They also don't sell me used copies as new or open the boxes, remove stuff that is supposed to come with my purchase, then seal it back up and sell it to me as 'new',…
I'm sure it will be, at an undetermined time after the console launch (they need time to optimize the PC version).
Sounds like you want Saints Row: The Third (and likely the upcoming Saints Row 4). It has all of those things.
And as soon as I find the Steam version on sale somewhere I'll pick it up; been waiting awhile.
I would say that if you were on that flight, it was quite frightening. Fair play on words.
With the exception that this is EA they are boycotting, who more and more frequently aren't putting games on Steam. The examples given don't (and won't) appear on steam (Battlefield 3 and 4).
I haven't found any official word on it, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I advise patience in this matter. It took 30 or so minutes for my email to arrive; it's likely that the activation emails are going out in batches to help reduce the stress on the servers (this is a common practice).
I was under the impression that there is a playable demo, but all i can seem to find is a tech demo that's used to test if the game will work on my computer. Has anyone found a playable demo?
I forget if they killed him or not, but he doesn't make an appearance in Saints Row: The Third.
