Not in media.... That is the whole point.. There is a difference between media and real life....

People in the last one who were offended by it even suggested asian actors it did not matter if they were japanese or not. This is honestly the most ridiculous thing on the whole matter...

Personally I think so for my own standards likes etc. at least not for the whole world. This is also the view I get more and more hearing about how campuses trying to remove freethinking and free speech because it can offend people. How social media is acting to these issues. So no it is not the majority of Americans

But these also have other reasons. For example Japan is a very closed country. So minorities are real minorities there. And yes they will suffer because of laws, they will suffer because of stigmata but not because the Nation or the people in there are overly racist but because their system is still screwed., Same

Japan is not “polluted” with social justice values like the west is today. In which is being argued that wearing a kimono is racist, that teaching Yoga classes while white is racist, that making sushi while being white and non japanese is racist. And these for the most part are the same people who are outraged here.

I agree with this. So let me formulate it a bit better. They way american think what racism is today . Like wearing a Kimono

“The world doesn’t need these games.”

I never said that they do not have problems however this is not one of their problems. They are not so obsessed with race and social justice than America is. Also lol at saying Japan is the far most racist nation. You have no idea...

No they are influenced by different cultures all over the world. And not by their race in general. That is the huge difference. And of course they see them as they are., humans.

If it is set in Japan yes. However unlike American media. Japanese media always has tons of different cultural influences in their movies, anime/manga even in their music. They get inspirations from all over the world even the ones that are set in Tokyo.

No. Japanese names are used to make it more accessible but characters are created with tons of influence of the world. As Example:

No they see people as people and not as a race. They do not care. Yes they have japanese names because it flows better in Japanese but most of Anime characters are representing tons of different races and cultures. For example the whole One Piece crew: The only one who is really Japanese is Zorro. All others were

Yes you do not have to be a certain race or gender but if you are the only one outraged by it and not the people that are actually involved in it than you are just in for some moral crusade. You are not fighting for them you are only fighting for yourself.

They look like people nothing else.

Its not strawman argument that this game has deep mechanics. Just because YOU think it is worthless does not mean it is a fact. People like different things and that is great. Art back then was always controversial hell even often illegal. That what makes art still relevant after centuries.

No they really do not care. They shrug it of and that is it. People are outraged by it are not even Japanese. They are mostly either black or white which is ridiculous in itself.

It is not ignorance. The fact that either black people or white people are outraged by this and not Japanese people is ridiculous in itself. Japan does not care about stuff like cultural appreciation or whitewashing. Just like Japan does not care if you as a white person wear a kimono or not. They are glad that

I love these kind of games that challenging our morals and social standards. These games still take risks while big publishers would have been very afraid to try this.

So you rather want art to be censored and removed by the usage of the world? Interesting or rather a very dangerous thought. Who is deciding that the world does not need this game?

The game yes. the picture was not. To call the picture like this creepy is as I said very dangreous without the context of it. How about that guy is a teacher who tries to correct the pose of the girl? Also it is very notable that this girl is not scared but rather annoyed by this, A sign for a normal “Teacher
