They already own Insomniac, the reality of that situation and the deal with Marvel to make these games are two independent facts. If Marvel didn’t make that deal with them, Insomniac is still owned by Sony and would just make something else.
Sony: Hey FTC MS is buying another major publisher.
I think there’s a bit of a difference between locking the games of a single studio behind an exclusive deal and locking a third of the video game industry and one of if not the biggest franchise behind an exclusive deal. I’m not making excuses for any exclusivity deal, but there is more nuance here than “Sony bad.”
What the actual hell are you talking about.
I saw this like fifteen minutes ago, they shut this game down in record time, faster then any of their previous games, fucking hilarious. The amount of defenders for this game I’m seeing is alarming though, I get people are trying to justify their purchase but god damn, the copium levels are off the charts. “It’ll get…
You can “sigh” how much you want, I commented to YOU. I didn’t commented to them, but to YOU.
And you started with this “its just early access”-crap and “look at these completley different games, with completly different precondition, hell lets throw in some games as examples that have a several billion dollar company…
Could you show me where I called it a scam. Looks like you know my comments better then me. So go for it.
This is my first one:
“Yeah, I don’t know If I would use “We Happy Few” as an “good” example.
Yeah yeah...dream on. You sound like a monekywhateverhisnicknamewas guy from the Monstrum 2 discussion board. “Yeah, it will be great, its early access, just wait it will be the best ever yadda yadda”...oh right they stopped the development. Like everyone knew they would.
Even to compare it with Fortnite...a game with…
Cid’s not cool, though? He’s a wife-beating alcoholic has-been who is at the lowest point in his life when you meet him. The cigarette fits that perfectly, and if they wanted to send a powerful message about smoking, have him swear to quit or something once he’s finished his arc and had emotionally dealt with his…
Yeah, I don’t know If I would use “We Happy Few” as an “good” example.
Also like you said, players saw more in it after the initial presentation. Here on the other hand its...how should I say it...oh right:
Its a paper bag full of shit that was put on fire.
Promising an open world game and delivering an extraction shooter is more than just “underdelivering.”
I mean first, you seem weirdly aggro about it. You didn’t list any particular negatives in your initial post as to why you only prefer 1p titles on the Switch, so I’m not sure why I’m responsible for defending preferring indie titles on it..?
It’s great for indie titles and it’s where pretty close to my entire collection of those live. Death’s Door, Spiritfarer, Bastion, Hades, Hollow Knight, Snipperclips, Celeste, Hyper Light Drifter, Cuphead, etc etc etc. Very much prefer those titles on my Switch instead of tied to my other console(s) or PC.
You've just made his point.
Jesus Christ, the stupid fucking trailer drops tomorrow, it’ll release and get near-universal 10/10s, people need to chill on this damn game.
i have a harder time understanding how someone couldn’t understand it
Yes. Good job. You're getting better.
But the issue at hand is that is doing the opposite of that, right? MW2 player counts dove pretty hard, faster than they typically do. When every match is a sweat-fest, it ceases becoming something you do to unwind and therefore you don’t feel like playing it anymore. Sometimes you just want to play against a team…
Entertainment is entertainment you could compare anything you want if you really want to. I didn’t say you wanting to compare game prices was moot (vs comparing a movie), to clarify I was referring to you thinking a publisher pricing their game lower as a comparison was moot. $70 for a game is not going to be an every…
