I have thought a lot about this review, and I hope people who are defending this review read through this post so they can understand where the criticism is coming from.

I don't treat gaming reviews as some sacred cow, I am merely expressing my displeasure with this specific review.

Again, you are speaking about this like it is a novel or a piece of literature where a rule set doesn't apply. When James Joyce wrote Ulysses, he did not need to adhere to how to tell stories, because he is creating something.

A perfect example of how bad this review is can be showcased in the comments. We should be talking about Deus Ex, not the reviewers lack of comprehension to what a review is.

My annoyance stems from the fact that this is not a review, just based on content it is not a review it reads more like a story while Kirk Hamilton is supposed to be a reporter. This should be an informative look at the game that details what people can

That is kind of my annoyance with this review. Bill Hicks was a performer, while Kirk Hamilton is supposed to be a reporter. This is not a review, just based on content it is not a review it reads more like a story. The should be an informative look at the game that details what people can expect if they by it.

Final Fantasy 7 had a host of bugs, long Summon animation, nonsensical plot lines, but I love ever single second of that game. Ocarina of Time had

@QualityJeverage: Why don't you play the Dead Space level in Little Big Planet?

@Teran: You're right, its better to act like its no biggie.

@Đipic: Agreed, as the subject line reads "ridiculous"

@Stephen Totilo: How do we know that Totilo didn't tear that PR Ladies pantyhose in a moment of wild Brutal Legend induced rocker passion! Ladies beware: Stephen is breaking hearts and tearing articles of clothing!

@Brian Crecente: He hasn't mentioned it much, you need to ream him out for that Crecente. Crack the whip!

No Totilo, not Fox News! They will eat your soul!
