I had already thought about people showing genuine interest in ASMR, but figured anyone who was really curious would look it up anyway, like you did. Meanwhile, people who know nothing about it strangely need to brag to everyone how they don’t feel anything, have everyone agree with them, and spread misinformation…

I have the hardest time sleeping at night; I always have. My brain refuses to shut off regardless of how physically exhausted my body is; and outside of taking a sedative every night, there’s not much else that works.

Some of them are what my husband calls “intimacy porn”, but many are not. I prefer the ones without talking or whispering: creating zen gardens, drawing, or nature ASMR. Some of them are HILARIOUS.

Is this anything like those nature videos featuring a soft-spoken British narrator and the relaxing sounds of nature? I watched a bunch of those in the 80s and early 90s. I don’t think I got numb or anything but it was relaxing.

If you feel “sensual” from it, that’s your own baggage, friend; they’re not meant to be sexual or creepy. To me, well done ASMR makes the right side of my head tingle — it literally feels like electricity shooting around, and it feels great and very relaxing. Some people don’t feel this.

I really enjoy MissFushi’s channel and her livestreaming. I don’t get any tingles from her SDV plays, but they relax me, and sometimes that’s all I’m really looking for.

And what’s the deal with Barons of Hell?! They’re barons so they must be some aristocracy, but they’re doing dirty work!
