Before I get into the topic of why I like this game so much, this is for before who are considering buying it: If you have ever played or liked Harvest Moon, it combines the best worlds of HM 64 storytelling, and better Friends of Mineral Town gameplay.

As a long-time Harvest Moon fan I am incredibly pleased to see people embracing this sort of game in earnest. I’ve been playing, and my reaction has basically been “What’s so special?” Mainly because most of this is old hat to me. Anyway, back to parsnips.
