True story, the line was changed to pizza hut in Europe (and the logos digitally altered), since there’s no taco bell anywhere except the US.
If I remember correctly, they weren’t exactly the same in the champion and turbo versions. Ken’s dragon punch had more range (or at least went higher) and did slightly more damage, whereas Ryu’s fireball was slightly better.

Oh I think plenty of communist societies got the “overthrow the tyrant” stage just fine (the Romanovs in Russia, the Qing Dynasty in China, etc.), it’s just that most of them became autocratic dystopias afterwards...
