I’ve played a lawful good rogue in a 3.5ed campaign a couple years back. He was basically an investigator/spy who was utterly loyal to his queen (and to his party, mostly) and who would never kill anybody if there was another way.

Those times are over, though. There’s too many servers nowadays, it ain’t the late ‘90s no more.
