My stupid tag is still unique <3
Nice. I never finished that one, maybe now I will. Once it’s on sale, that is. I’m not paying 20 bucks when I can just hook up my PS2 (then again, I’m a lazy fuck.)
Vegas as a whole felt exactly as you described, just the strip itself was a bit... small, yeah. But I still liked it, it was full of characters and quests and stuff.
How you can put 3 above NV I’ll never know.
It looks like a toaster, but in a sexy way.
I always prefer the unfiltered “clean” (read: pixelated) look in emulation, even though CRT TVs used to mitigate that alot. I guess a simple bilinear filter (oldschool blur filter) is still the best approximation of the “TV” look though.
@Caller#1: Just be a friend.
That kind of software filter has been around since the early days of homebrew emulation, and many companies use it commercially these days. Just look at the default filter for Capcom’s D&D arcade collection or some of the Neo Geo releases on Steam.
Quake’s shotgun was *the* worst, since it was the starting weapon in both single and multiplayer, and consequently didn’t pack much of a punch. Surprisingly, it was effective at all ranges, but you needed a lot of shells to kill something.
They woulda dropped 6 nukes in the middle of Berlin? Dick move.
I wish he’d go PC or at least multiplatform now that he’s technically an indie developer. I guess Sony’s money is too good.
Damn, you win!
I remember playing that Empire arcade game for hours when I was a kid. They had one of those machines where we were staying at some campground somewhere in northern Italy once (it might’ve been the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, I’m not sure); I must’ve drained all my parents change.
Speedrunner’s Code of Honor? I dunno.
Still haven’t finished it. So boring.
They suck.
That reminds me, I gotta drag out my Gamecube again and try to finish this bloody game some time...
Whatever you say, CCP.
