You realize those hikes come because NY state legislators (and Cuomo) are shitbags who constantly rob the MTA, right?

Depends on which suburban wasteland you live in and where you work.

To sane people, this just means public transit is becoming a nicer alternative to driving. To politicians (who all drive) this means we must build more highways and cut taxes. Folks from NY state, for example, know how much our governor just adores public transit. By adore, of course, I mean despise.

Well this is all my hope. Bot the pro and anti-purchase posts make interesting points. I have zero reason (even if the guy spear-heading this loves cars) to trust these investors, as the business model for these types of firms is usually to suck every last penny out of an entity and then discard it to collapse. As

Lads, it ain't the paint that's exciting, it's the technology and pure speed of the thing. All that speed! (Not that kind, Robbie Ford.)

Look, I'd take Belichick's advice to heart, too, but leaving the combine is a bit much.

We were fucked extra hard when corrupt state legislatures started making it illegal for municipalities to build out their own fiber networks.

So, the average NASCAR fan, FOX News and ESPN are kind of dumb? News to me.

"Well, Netflix pays us, but gosh darnit their magic internets are so expensive! It'll cost extra to get that special kind of internets. Also, have you heard about our streaming service Xfinity?" - Comcast, any fucking day now

So many souls to devour, so little time. :'(

Oh god it's growing.

"Why don't you try our service, Xfinity? It magically doesn't use the internet and doesn't go against your bandwidth cap, and doesn't require you to upgrade to our Streaming Advanced (an additional $15 a month) tier that allows access to Netflix, Hulu, and other bandwidth-heavy streaming services (monthly data cap

I can't believe I'm about to defend a cable co. So on Optimum, they're actually part of Netflix's program where Netflix servers are added directly to the network, so for those of us in the NYC metro area lucky enough, Netflix quality is terrific. Thing is, they're not a country-wide monopoly (just the tri-state area

The bottom line is Comcast gets more money.

Sigh. And there it is: precedent. We're fucked.

You can buy blu-ray players with all the works (but not HDMI 2.0 or h.265) for under $100 nowadays. Amazon can do it all for $99.

Just make sure it supports h.265 and 4K in 60 Hz (s0, HDMI 2.0), Amazon. And one more thing: Make it a Blu-Ray/CD/DVD player, too. I know, I know, sounds nuts but hear me out. Amazon sells stuff, streaming and physical. Integrating Blu-Ray sales into their streaming app means they can offer customers a physical copy

My wing is rising watching this.

There you go, crushing my hopes and dreams.

Give me this with a solid roof and that new 1-liter engine, and make it light as hell, GM. Give me a proper hot hatch and I will sell my body to buy it.
