I just picked up this obscure japanese tabletop/pen and paper rpg called Tenra Bansho Zero. If you like "hyper asian" cyber fantasy then this might be a nice alternative to DnD.

Knights of Sidonia is fantastic. The manga is great and the anime is very engaging if not a little offputting visually upon first viewing. If you have read the manga and then watched the anime then its easy to see Nihei's art in the CG renderings of his characters. Over the last decade he his art has become cleaner…
