yea H.264 will stay free until 2016 because they hope by then they will have a large enough user base where it will be a huge hassle to not use it.

@Prairie Moon: why would they need to. Dont include it in the extension test and done?
if you're doing chrome dev, why not do firefox's nightlies? Also a test to see if the memory of each goes up over time. As such being, every 5 minutes navigating to a new site or something since everyone seems to have an illusion that firefox's goes up over time.
what about a solid background with one pixel at the bottom right as a very slightly different one?
@penguiniator: what if you wanted to find software that wasnt on one of these repositories.
Handbrake should be on the list. Yes it CAN rip dvds, but its not going to rip one's actual dvds.
@Phoshi: oh course! Haven't you ever seen a pirate? exactly, because if you had you'd be dead! Pirates also have much more PFM, so they automatically win.
@Phoshi: would the fact that pirates beat ninjas be more of a justification? or maybe the fact that they have scraggly beards and are named things like "Captain Barbossa" and "Johnny Blackbeard"?
i want to know when 3.7 is going to start sporting its differences in looks like in the preview pictures.
i want to know what everything is going to look like on XP. I mean ill probably have windows 7 by the time Firefox 4 comes out, but if not, i dont want to be left out without all this cool looking stuff.
torrents usually arent the "automatic download, im feeling lucky" kind of download. i cant really think of any that i wouldnt want to look at first to see if i want to download it first.
google does everything. Why bother making a big deal out of when something on of them starts, and instead just tell yourself "i want ____? well i guess i can just wait because google is gonna have one pretty soon"
@yardissimo: but its a beta and whatnot. and its different and will scare the other people using this comp. Even though i have word, i still need to keep works because they got all in a huffle because i uninstalled it.
@dry-roasted-peanuts: Nope, I am aswell. Though i wouldnt mind a working properly version of DVD Play to properly pick a movie, but all of those other ones use WMC, which is too much of a hassle.
@halcyon22: agha! nifty. I actually think i knew that before, but it must have been forgotten. But even so its a bit of a stretch, asking me to push down a whole nother button! i mean really. coordinating the pushing down of two buttons at once it a bit too difficult. Im not sure i will be able to get used to it.…
@Adam Pash: actually i sometimes have problems getting to facebook from the awesome bar. Well regular for me. Most of the time i type in "facebook" and it will bring me directly to facebook, but sometimes it just brings me to google. So its all Firefox's fault
No need to particularly call it a star getting technique. Its much more just common internet sense for being polite and not getting banned.
i simply want something that will give me the DVD Art and allow me to select them easily. Something like the DVD Play ahk script you posted way back when, but something that works, and is preferably in executable form.
@yardissimo: gah but now, my 2007 installation has to configure itself every time i run it between a 2010 run and a 2007 run, its quite annoying.
Does it really matter if your computer is up and running fast? The speed of your computer is then basically un-cared about. With ChromeOS first everything you do is slowed down by the internet connection you have, then its further slowed down by your computer. So even if you have a badass computer...you can have…
