I love these tips. No matter how obvious they seem, after you get a few of these "outside-the-box" type simple solutions, you start to look for others on your own and invent new ones. Fun!

That just looks like an alien.
Thanks, will try this tonight. Sucks about having to reconfigure WMC if it doesn't work, but then it's not too useful anyway. Cheers!
I should have mentioned in the first comment that the drivers are totally up to date and I've tried older versions. Flash and silverlight both experience this problem, as does youtube (which is HTML5 in chrome? not sure), in all browsers I've tried (FF, Chrome, IE), and are running current-est versions. No solution…
I know Lifehacker isn't my personal tech support, but this problem is driving me to desperation so I'll file this under "whatever else you need help with:"
An interesting FYI, netflix is working great on my rooted Droid Incredible running Cyanogenmod7. I really didn't think it would, but I knew that was my first question. I couldn't search for it either, probably not popular enough just yet (just having been released), but I navigated to giz and followed the link from…
I think all this discussion and difficulty is coming out of a mistaken belief that this car will someday be worth any more than what it was the day it came off the lot. This is a remake of a car that was great. It's not an original idea, or a one-off, or a particularly beautiful design. Just because the production…
Don't be too worried. The animal in the image is clearly a rat, and not a mouse.
It seems to me that the point of this article is "3DTV will only become popular by broadcasting content that very few people want to watch"
"The opening straight at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track where the event was held features enough of hill that racers of the back could see the start lights"
"...pairing them with the proper CELLS, such as ANTIBODIES, the radiation carrying ORGANISMS will only go after abnormal cells..."
Thus proving that rich parents really do love their kids more than poor ones.
Because there are just so many stories of girl scouts getting mugged for cash they have on them now.
if I could double-star you for this comment I would. Hell, if I could single star you, I would probably make a similar comment to this one.
I think the concept is there, but I agree. You can probably get a more capable netbook for $300.
Well, with bandwidth and storage getting cheaper all the time, transfer rates and file sizes wouldn't be too much of an issue, so people who don't care about quality would still be hearing their music the way they were used to it and people with systems set up to listen to higher quality audio would be getting a perk.…
Agreed. I'm as much of an apple-hater as there is, but it's become way to difficult to get high-quality audio. If someone with the distribution power of iTunes could get behind some hi-fi goodness, I might have to make the switch. Another opportunity for apple to create, sieze, and dominate a market that currently…
I don't really agree. Those are some pretty big towns right there, including 4 of the top 10 most populous cities in the US, and a few of the densest as well. It's not reasonable to expect an app to cover anything but the biggest of cities, at least initially. I do really wish apps like this would get to San Diego…
but I would bet that if your laptop only weighed 164 grams and had 4G, it would cost a lot more than $700.
