I just used an online calculator to find out generally what my water-use foot print looks like and I found out that by eating a standard American diet (that includes meat), I’m adding 1,000 gallons to my DAILY water usage. Isn’t that crazy?! Excluding diet, I’m only using about 62 gallons of water a day. Mind blown.
