Meredith Woerner. You are my favorite of all the things.
I think what you're calling "anguish porn" is actually the hallmark of an incredible animated movie. If I don't cry, it's not good enough. Some of my favorites are: the first few minutes of Up, reminding us of the joys of companionship and the sting of loneliness; Mufasa's death in the Lion King, doesn't get much more…
Why do most of these people end up resembling Sylvester Stallone? Maybe he played with too much scotch tape as a kid...
I cried when her sister sung the snowman song. She never got to bond with Elsa, and thought that her sister hated her.
First thing I noticed too, strange that they choose to go with something like that.
So...the performationists believed that the role of the mom was basically that of an incubator only, with little-to-no role in actually makin' the baby, which exploded forth from the dude's generative organs fully-formed.
Don't a suspiciously large amount of people still believe that today?
Oh well that would be cool :)
I wrote this assuming that it would read me my newsfeed and weather updates! Sorry for getting everybody's panties in a bunch.
It's GORGEOUS! All it needs is weather/facebook apps. :D
I love her to death, and the song. But I'm starting to wonder if that note really CAN be hit outside of a studio.
Dear LORD that last note though. Christ on a pecan, I feel so bad.
It pissed me off that they stuck the song to the tail end of the show when the audience was alredy tired of so many singers. If she had opened it'd energized the whole evening.
I wouldn't say amateurish I would say the orchestra was going way fast to a cut up song and I don't think she could hear it. You can see it get away from her right towards the end. She's used to an orchestra that works with you, this felt like they were rushing, oddly.
Anyone else think that was a bit...amateurish? I'll admit that a) I think this song is really great, and b) it's very challenging to sing. But there must have been some sort of issue with her monitors (or something else awry) because she rushed through various parts. I don't doubt that she's an amazing vocalist - she…
This was such an award bait song and everyone knew it.
yeah, same here. mob movies just do nothing for me.
Weird, mine as well.
I won't give anyone grief for not seeing The Godfather — I had a lousy time watching it because it's been referenced, quoted and parodied to death. It's a great piece of cinema that now feels like you're going through a checklist.
