Except that electric motors physically don’t have gears. They aren’t like an auto. You can’t just magically ask it to simulate a gear change, because the motor can only spin on a flat torque curve.

I feel like Tesla are missing a trick by not making a “cabover” version of this. The whole of Europe uses cabovers because of the total length restriction. This wouldn’t be able to pull full-size trailers in Europe.
