That's weird haha. I can't say I've had that experience with mine...
Google F.B. Purity. You can thank me later
It's the fact it's nothing like WoW that turns me off. It feels like an MMO without the options.
Guild Wars is somewhat challenging and the combat is far more immersive. I just find Diablo boring.
Hate me if you wish, but...meh. I gave it a go and it's honestly boring me to tears. The combat is boring, the quests are grinds and the lore is uninteresting. Colour me unimpressed.
I also enjoy the club guest lists. Argh, damn facebook has got my demographic all sewn up :(
Interesting article. Still, I'm not sure you can generalise an entire generation from one example.
Who here could truthfully delete their account tomorrow and not miss it?
I feel bad for laughing at this
Nice metaphor. I guess it all boils down to a combination of both personal and social awareness. Sadly, as it is, the social lottery is and will continue to be a very real thing. Just the idea of the scale of societal changes that would be needed to change that makes my head hurt.
Thought provoking stuff. The concept of privilege is a minefield to be honest. Personally, I think people just want to get on with their lives without worrying about who won the social lottery.
Agreed wholeheartedly. And I don't, so I guess I've achieved that.
I'm no more an object than anybody else. I am a real person with feelings, friends and a life, just like everyone else in the world, regardless of their background.
I have no idea about other people's circumstances other than my own experiences, but I agree that underneath it all, we are all the same. I try to treat everyone as my equal regardless of who they are, where they came from or what they believe. Admittedly, I don't always succeed, but it's better to try than do nothing…
They put all their skill points in sneak and lockpicking instead of charisma and wealth. School boy error ;)
What's the big deal with being a realist and accepting your life circumstances? Yeah, I'm a straight, white male and I accept that I have an easier life in some respects to other people on other "difficulty levels". At the end of the day though, I don't get hung up about it. I accept that I have it easy and then get…
Haaaaa, very true
Zing! Nice haha
