Like too many people here, he is high on his own self-righteousness. The guy punched here is being dehumanized with the ‘Nazi’ chants. His line of thinking is so specially evil that he isn’t actually a person, he’s an avatar of everybody I don’t like that I can freely project all of my hatred and fear onto without

Could you actually, you know, argue that instead of calling me a bunch of names? What, exactly, did I say that was ‘feeble-minded’? I think you’re projecting.

Sounds like cruel and unusual punishment to me. I’m sure all the Trumpers that were cheering when that protestor got hit at that Trump rally were thinking the exact same thing you are now.

Trolls, of course, being anyone who disagrees with you. You’re probably going to dismiss this anyway, as you’re obviously so secure in your position that actually arguing it is too hard, but it’d be nice if you were at least honest. Just admit that you’re dismissing people with opinions you don’t like instead of

The guy you’re arguing with evidently dismissed my comment (of course, because of his bravery), but it’s pretty funny to me that the guy championing the right to have people you don’t like beaten without consequence is accusing you, who is clearly being dogpiled here, of being a coward.

Yeah, why doesn’t somebody just extrajudiciously murder him? If only Obama were still here, he could send a predator drone to his wedding and take out the whole family.

Sure, this guy taking the obviously unpopular opinion and actually sitting here and trying to argue it is the coward, and you as one of the billion dogpilers taking the pretty easy route of, ‘People who think things I disagree with deserve to be beaten’ is displaying true courage.

So this is where we are? Anyone professing neo-nazi ideas (I wonder who gets to define the less obvious cases) despite the fact they haven’t actually DONE anything can be freely assaulted without any charges or condemnation? Where do we stop?

If you’re okay with professed neo-nazis getting punched or beaten, why not

Hopefully there’ll also be no problem when someone else thinks YOU ‘deserve’ something and appoint themselves judge and jury?

...everyone knows you’re playing wrong if you don’t pick Jennifer Hale’s FemShep.

I really hope so, Nintendo has been annoyingly vague about the Switch being the true handheld successor so this is the first I’ve heard about them actually doing something about it.

There’s nothing particularly wrong with that. I’m a hardcore fanboy so I’m getting it immediately, hell I’ll have a blast just having the thing and messing with the menus, but I can certainly understand waiting. There wasn’t much reason to get a PS4 or XB1 their first years out, either.

I’ll take a Freelancer-esque anything at this point.

The way people here will shift gears and throw the word ‘traitor’ around for someone who’s actions didn’t result in the calamity they predicted makes this place suddenly look like a Republican forum circa 2005.

I am a crazed Libertarian wingnut and so forth, but while this move by Obama was certainly surprising I have

“Even if I supported the idea of legacy servers (I don’t, because I actually played vanilla and I’m not blinded by nostalgia)“

Why wouldn’t you? I also played vanilla and have no interest in going back, but nostalgia or not I recognize that people like things that I don’t like and that’s completely okay. If you’re

Yeah, you’re right, that is definitely not happening. Too much work for an approach that they are trending away from instead of toward lately.

It’s the typical whirlwind of information after any big gaming thing, really no different from the Xbox or Sony reveals.

Yes, this whole launch is looking very Wii U-esque which doesn’t bode well at all. At least we’re getting a Zelda, though. The only Wii U game I wanted at launch was Lego City Undercover - which turned out to be pretty great, but that was literally it for MONTHS. This is looking, so far, like just Zelda and some ports

Technically this isn’t Kotaku.

Technically this isn’t Kotaku.

Well, I’m a shoe-in for day 1 (if I can get one) no matter how bad it was going to turn out, but the reactions were mixed. It’s looking like just Zelda and that weird party game for launch, and neither is evidently coming with the console. I buy these systems pretty much just for Zelda so I’m in, but people’s top
