That was one of the first things I noticed. No idea why it was even questioned. As soon as I saw that little logo, supercharger came to mind.

Mini's placement of the speedometer in their Cooper. I'd prefer to have the speedo either in the cluster (visible through the steering wheel) or above the steering wheel (8th gen Civic). Putting it in the dash equidistant between the driver and passenger where the audio unit or nav unit and maybe some vents should be…
I believe you just push it the opposite way but not all the way. Just giving it a nudge out of its centre position should do it. That's how it was on the Mini Cooper that I drove for the first time recently anyways.
Silent? I've never come across any turn signals that are completely silent. They all must have an audible sound when active.
I'm guilty of this as well whenever I drive an auto. Especially when I first go to start it and I press in the imaginary clutch before turning the key.
Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see.
#6 if they've just washed their car is super effective!
Actually? I had no idea.
That's the biggest fender labia I've ever seen.
Fortunately I'm never there during rush hour!
Without traffic though, the DVP is a great little stretch of highway. No idea why they bother with the 90 km/h limit. In some of the bends (near Don Mills) I can understand but thereafter everyone goes 120+ km/h.
Yikes. Don't even get me started on the DVP. I live right by the 401/404/DVP junction so I know all about it. Any my girlfriend lives down by Bloor and Jarvis so I take the DVP quite often as well.
Hopefully your commute doesn't involve any of the busy areas of the 401. At least it moves relatively smoothly now that some of the construction has completed. Especially between the 404 and 400.
That was a good story. I agree with everything you did except the key-ing. I think you took it too far there. But otherwise enjoyable. As a Torontonian, there are many drivers here like the one you encountered that I'd love to "educate".
The only problem is that I don't think the hybrids could beat that spaceship on tarmac...
I've never seen so much venting in one comment section on the internet. It's hilarious but so true. I didn't even need to because everyone else did it for me.
This list is mostly for gear heads who are in their midlife crisis. There should be another whole list for average Joes going through their midlife crisis.
Oh you meant it like that? Of course it's photoshopped. I meant the actual car. But one question, have you driven it? Judging by the way you speak of it, it sure sounds like you haven't. I used to be like everyone else and call it underpowered and what not. But after I drove it, I hopped out of the car with a huge…
Good thing you didn't show the ACTUAL car because it looks nothing like that.
