I think the X6 sold better than they themselves anticipated. That would explain why they're making another model that incorporates the body style into their bread-and-butter 3 and 5 series lineup. I doubt the 5GT did well though because I see one maybe once a month. Not sure how well the 3GT will sell though.

Even if it does have more room than the wagon, I would still get the wagon because it looks awesome. This shape/bodystyle will never grow on me.

Asymmetry like you mentioned is quite significant. I've never seen it that bad. My girlfriend's right boob is bigger than her left. But not by much. Her right boob is midway between a B and a C cup while her left is a regular B cup.

I was thinking the same thing. I've been a tech for a while and have never seen it exposed as such just above the pedals. There is always a (usually) black cover that covers it from the firewall up until it enters the steering column.

I've had brief conversations with my closer buddies before about this. They've all confirmed that they have one that hangs lower than the other. Not drastically, just enough to notice a difference. Your last point would certainly be a problem. Yikes.
