Ramble on, my friend. As long as you speak automotive, I'm cool with that.

Interesting.
Oh absolutely. I lived in Germany for 7 years and in Canada since then. I was born a European and raised to dislike any American cars and adore the European cars. After coming to Canada and having my mind opened up, I've come to like a lot of the cars coming out of the US. The ATS is one of them along with the…
Regardless of the result, I'd still pick the BMW. I liked BMW since I was a kid and I hear good things about them to this day. I can't say the same about Cadillac (in regards to the liking since I was a kid part). I own an E39 and I love it.
Interesting. I'll reserve judgement for when and if I ever test drive the two. I'm surprised to hear about the wind noise, though.
Not really. I was referring to the F30 328i. I would hope that the ATS would be better than a 13-year-old E46.
Haha that is quite puzzling.
+1
Interesting. Thanks for the heads up. I'm surprised (and disappointed) to hear that BMW's 3-Series chassis has been softened.
You test drove them both?
I think Motor Trend did a Head 2 Head comparison but I was at work when I found it and YouTube is disabled at work. I keep forgetting to look it up.
What a shame. Are they at least a little more educated in terms of driving than the ones here?
I gotta look up some 328i vs. ATS reviews online. I'd like to know what the journalists think.
There are asshats in Germany too?
What do you know? We have the exact same car. Same year, too. 5-speed sport?
That is so boss.
I wonder what engine manufacturer will produce the most reliable units once they switch over to the turbo engines next year.
I'd be super pissed if someone made a donk out of an M5.
I would laugh too. I can't help but assume 'Vette owners are at least 45. Congrats on that by the way! I just bought my first BMW (E39 530i) at the age of 23.
I wonder if any of the Jalopnik commenters have vanity plates.
