We’re old. We got there early and actually got seats at the little bar up above. I couldn’t do the floor for any show these days.

I’m not cool, but my husband is, so we went to the Sleigh Bells show at the 9:30 Club last year. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen...

“ I know”

nevermind...I’m using it right now but only helps a little

I’ve had cats for 20 years. I knew I was a little bit allergic, but I’m also allergic to ever-present dust mites, so whatever. Then I got the big-deal super allergy testing last month. I was OFF THE CHARTS allergic to cats. I still can’t even deal with making my cat stay out of my bedroom - so in denial. I should

#1 sign my kid has too much control in my life: I recently got a new car that came with free XM radio for a few months. Preset station 1 - KidzBop Radio. Sigh. At least the next 5 presets range from 80’s to Lithium.

I’m struggling a bit now with how to get Lil CatChick to be courteous and respectful (her 10 yr old attitude is ON POINT) without at all squelching her ability to stand up for herself, speak her mind, or argue her case. I had none of these skills growing up and I still suffer from it in my 40s. In fact, I’d rather her

I did the same, on back-to back flights this weekend. For me, as a former single mom with PPD confined to a house for security reasons (but nothing close to what she’s going through)...it resonated, and scared me. Very well written.

A student did the shooting. Students were killed and wounded. My sister is a professor there. It still freaks me out that if the shooter had decided to do it during the day during a classroom building, my nephews might not have a mother today.

I may or might not be a former ACS employee (can they find me?) whose work closely related to LGFB. I’m kinda in the middle on this one, after seeing this from the inside even 5 years ago and how corporate was going to handle this. They did make some changes in the products and added more training and information,

It’s already happened in some circles. I’m thick with a ton of craft beer nerds and everything is sours or gose. I’m looked down on for loving a good ol’ hoppy west-coast style IPA.

Absolutely! I need to make it a routine - I really like yoga and I need to do something while my feet heal. plus, I need strength in my upper body

I think for those that desire it, becoming a runner is an awesome experience. I went from the kid ALWAYS picked last in gym class and having the gym teacher stand there impatiently after the bell rang while I finished my f-ing mile 10 minutes after everyone else, to running 3-4 times a week and having race bibs

Same! In second grade, I tried using my given name and misspelled it. (It wasn’t that hard, I just literally never used it or wrote it in my life). Now I have this weird work vs. home thing. But then work people meet my home people and they are like why the hell is she calling you *full name*?

I really hate to admit it, but Argo was one of my favorite movies of the last few years. Not his performance, but his direction. He’s still slimey, tho.

AP Bio senior year. *shudder*

I was lucky my mom snatched her up for LilCatChick last Christmas. Maybe she’ll come back someday.

Or hasn’t already mastered the eye roll.

It’s freaking amazing I’ve ended up where I am today after a Texas middle and high school education. I felt like I got dumber each year. If it weren’t for 7 years in the northeast before that, who knows. At least I had a kick-ass American History teacher who probably wouldn’t have stood for this b.s. anyway.

Warning for everybody: I am suffering because I just had to go off Nasacort. Didya know it can cause thrush (yeast infection) of the mouth? Now I do. Apparently, when the steroids handle the allergy symptoms, they weaken the immune response to other things like yeast infections. Good times. And now I’m a stuffy,
