Right on! I work for a food/sustainability group, and there is pretty good evidence that the almond scare was started up by a cattle industry supported under the guise of saving water.

He plays the dad in one of the recent American Girl movies my daughter has watched a million times. He’s a high school principal and in a “rock band”. He looks exactly the same, but plays a very good dad. Kinda creepy, actually.

I can pinpoint the moment I became a true Democrat and discovered false patriotism of the right. Senior year in high school (early 90s), I was on the dance team and we were required to participate in a “support the troops” rally. This is smallish town Texas, in the football stadium, we are all carrying large American

Agree! Founders KBS is the only stout I really enjoy.

My spouse also says this. Usually when something preventable or predictable happened or when I want comfort, not platitudes. Ragey.

Before I set up automatic payment, lilCatChick came home with a sticker ON HER SHIRT that said lunch money owed. Such shame, for both of us. Granted, its kind of a false shame because I have the money to pay. I see how a sticker seems like a good reminder and won’t get lost, but jeez.

Yes!!!! I need Stacy and Clinton back in my life. I’ve watched Stacy’s new show and it was not nearly as good. Is it even on anymore?

My husband writes about beer and breweries as a side job. We get a lot of good beer in our house, and I go on some fun visits. I think he still kind of pinches himself.

All hail the Grumpy sisters. I was the Grumpy of my family. I actually have a bit of a complex about that, but I think Sasha will be fine because she seems to have such great support from her family. It’s still hard for me 30 years later to be like, I might have been a little grumpy/not a morning person, but being

11 years younger! I’ll take that.

This was my daughter’s schedule two years ago, to deal with 130% over capacity. And now, she doesn’t have a playground. And I pay property taxes out the wazoo to live in the school district we do. Luckily, the science lab rocks.

“No” means “No crappy, rice-watery, tasteless beer”

I add a big asterisk to my statement, then. Thanks for informing me

Oh, I just saw this a couple days ago and now see that it was originally published in 2009,

With this and President Carter’s article about abandoning his Christian faith because of womens’/girls’ rights issues...powerful stuff

Ina Garten’s turkey meatloaf recipe rules. I’ve been making it for 10 years and always gets rave reviews.
