“To me it’s all beautiful STRAIGHT white people”

Colton is nodding rapidly at this statement.

Thank you so much for saying this. I am grey so I don’t know if the comment I left on the article to the author will be ungrayed but I am a per diem SW at PPNYC and it is WILD when these counter protesters are out there. They make things so much more chaotic and it really effects the patients. People have difficulty

This might dox me but oh well. I am a per diem social worker at Planned Parenthood NYC, mostly at MSC. I work a couple Saturdays a month. On the first Saturday of the month a church comes over and sings hymns and shit. It is usually the day we have the most protesters out there and this is when the counter protesters

What NYCFAR wants is much, much bigger than an unencumbered walk to an appointment at one Planned Parenthood in New York. They don’t just want abortion to be legal and minimally difficult to access. They want it to be free and unquestioned for anyone who does not want to be a parent. They want to strike down the Hyde

This.

I’m seeing a lot of people say that they don’t understand the appeal of this show. Which is totally understandable.

I get the ridiculousness of the situation, but he completely ghosted his ex-girlfriend, whom he repeatedly said he loved and promised to return to after the show was over, then repeatedly lied about it to Hannah.  Her whole thing was total honesty, and Jed was a dumb selfish idiot with zero emotional (or mental,

Woman that was openly dating 20 men with their full knowledge in the context of a show about a woman dating 20 men gets mad at man that is dating two but acted like he wasn’t.

I just need more clarity.

I have never watched this show but I just assume that most people who go on it have a girlfriend or boyfriend back home. What I don’t get is why the girlfriend or boyfriend back home is ok with it, I would be disgusted if my boyfriend wanted to go on a show like this and deceive another woman.

“The more things become political, the more you forget about the actual human beings that you’re really trying to help,” Elyse, the clinic escort, said. “They almost forget that it’s not really a political issue at heart, or it shouldn’t be.”

I cannot even choose my favorite part of that Hannah/Jed confrontation as I just kept watching just in utter disbelief. Like Jed knew this discussion was going to happen, he knew what Hannah knew and this was the best he could come up with? It was such a hilariously horrible attempt while he seemed to be pushing for

Was it just me or did Tyler look really uncomfortable when Hannah was asking him out?

This is a really great article that examines some of the complexities and tensions within the RR/RH/RJ movement. As someone who used to work for PP, and at the time was frustrated that they’d turn down offers for counter-protests and pro-PP activism, I eventually came to understand why these actions weren’t actually

Think you’re right.  It’s more of a talking point as opposed to just a show to to speak. I also don’t use Twitter, most of what I know about it comes from here.

After that I need 20 more seasons of “Unreal”

This show is so odd to me. Millions watch, and are enthralled in it.

Why can’t we be just “blah” with the Wellness AND Hedonism zealots? Isn’t there something nice in the middle of all that bullshit which doesn’t support damaging actions from each of those ends of the spectrum ?

Peter would be a horrible bachelor. He’s in love with the idea of love and is still clearly picking up the pieces from Hannah’s rejection. I’m definitely in favor of Mike as the Bachelor but besides that would def give a hard no to Peter lol. (He’s cute but could he last beyond the honeymoon stage of a relationship?)

You think Peter will be the next bachelor? I think it will be Tyler C. But there is also a strong push for Mike.
