I did the one in PA in April- it was 34 degrees at start time and I'd landed 12 hours earlier from a flight from Kenya. It was totally worth the misery.

I was definitely the slowest runner in my last group (couple of military guys). The upper body stuff will definitely be needed, but I found that it evens out- they slowed up for me on the run, but I kept back with them on the obstacles (I'm also quite a bit taller than both, so had a clear advantage on some).

Yes I've done a couple. They are fantastic. Hope you have a good team- not necessarily a super-fit one, but one that will work together. Makes it so much better and more enjoyable.
