Is it “affording” it, if you charge everything to your election campaign? I assume that’s why he started his 2020 campaign as soon as he moved into the WH. He really needs access to that money because he’s broke af.

People weren’t worried about the legit protesters, but about agent provocateurs (ie. people paid to go to protests and behave violently in order to allow police suppression and to paint the protesters as anarchists and a violent mob). It has happened in many, many other nations and frankly, given the national guard

Ewan McGregor thanked them!

Well, he’s right. It’s not spelled “socilism”.

No, it’s a pretty safe bet that people who wank off on the internet about how tough they are, probably have never experienced anything more harrowing than your mom making you do your own laundry.

Which comment was that? The OP didn’t say anything of the sort.

I haven’t cried at all, but your comment broke me. This kindness is what we need right now.

I love how objecting to racism and misogyny is now “shaming” people. They are objectively terrible things and if you support them, or if you don’t care about them enough to ensure a person who literally campaigned on a platform of civil rights roll backs controls the country, you should be ashamed.

I’d love to know what she thinks about this. Way to go. Hope you’re sleeping easy knowing you’ve emboldened the anti-semites in your home town. You know, where you’re raising your Jewish kids.

That it’s grammatically incorrect or misspelled, but being reported verbatim. Basically the fancy editorial way of saying “We know this is wrong, but it’s what the guy said”

As Sam Bee said “How many times do we expect black people to build our country?”

Give me a break, Trump took the majority of college educated whites and people making over 70K. The problem is that the Democrats try to appeal to the lower classes regardless of race which means focusing on economic policy, while the GOP make exclusion of minorities a cornerstone of their appeal to the lower classes.

Australian here, I really think it’s the best way. We vote on Saturday, lines are relatively short (I’ve never stood in line for more than 20 minutes) and there are plenty of early voting or mail in options. When it’s mandatory, it’s made as easy as possible. The fine is only like 20 bucks so even if you don’t vote,

Cool. Enjoy the Trump presidency and roll back of your civil rights you voted for.

Not if you’re Trump.

Trump is clearly unaware of the cutting edge technology called “a ladder”

And who will you blame when the GOP spend the next four years targeting any likely candidate for POTUS with the same frivolous inquiries and muck-raking that also make them unpopular? If people hate Clinton for false reasons that aren’t her fault, how is any candidate supposed to get a legitimate run?

Yeah? Can men be raped and then retraumatised by being forced to carry their rapists baby to term? Can men literally die because of pregnancy complications that require an abortion, but sorry ladies, your life is less important than some old guys principles? Get out of here with your “Men sometimes have to pay money

So what’s the point of them?

The average income for a Trump voter is $70K a year, $10K more than the average for Clinton voters. This narrative of poor, disenfranchised whites desperately voting for Trump needs to die already.
