You can win in a few tries because the cranes in the US are programmed to allow you to win in a few tries. They’re legally forced to allow a minimum win percentage. The makers let the owners make the crane’s claw weaker until it’s time for someone to win, then the claw gets stronger.

This is accurate. The teams are owned by billionares. Hell, there was a requirement of having to put in something like a hundred million just to be able to “start” one of the teams. There was basically a bidding war for the “popular” cities teams before the first player was even signed up.
That would involve her even feigning to have actual responsibilities.
