If you were not a nicotine addict, you’d realise your obsession with nicotine products is just not very interesting material for endless articles.

Man, vapers are the most easily butt-hurt group of them all. Say anything negative about it and they just flip out.

I guess the idea of not putting unnecessary chemicals into your lungs is off the table, huh?

Vaping is just another way for people to get addicted to tobacco, as well as another delivery for cbd and thc. I like it for the latter but would not ever consider vaping a juul pod. I don’t even like cigarettes.

The smell of cigarettes, the smell that clings to people and the general nastiness of it is just a major

Nicotine gum. Comes in mint, cinnamon, and a flavor that can only be described as “tingly juicy fruit”. It’s magical because you can get your fix all damn day and no one knows or cares.

You had me up in arms with “since they’re kid’s shoes”, no way in hell would pay $90 for kids shoes unless they’re medically necessary! But, they’re selling them for adults up to a men’s 13 so outrage meter back to seven for me.

But surely the shoes are usually so cheap because they are using cheap labour. It sounds like the women making these shoes are getting paid a fair wage so I’m okay with it. Not saying I would buy them at that price, but I can’t be too mad.

I agree and I vape myself. When they first came out years ago, it was heavily pushed as something that could be used literally anywhere. It's not cool. If you can't smoke somewhere, you shouldn't be vaping there either. My vape is a less stinky cigarette. I'm glad I don't smoke anymore (I smoked heavily), but it

I already know people who’ve gone back to cigarettes.

Have you tried CBD edibles or essential oil as an additive to drinks? We have those in WA.

Just a suggestion to reduce the vaping of those products, since the CDC did just release that report about vitamin E acetate being found in a higher rate in cannabis vapes than e cigs.

Any “enjoyment” you get out of nicotine use is an excuse your brain manufactures to try and justify your addiction

You know what’s not illegal, not subject to vice taxes and is a handy way to force a conversation to make a hard right turn if needed?

Yeah, there’s no reason that dumping a bunch of other untested chemicals into your lungs is safer for you than smoking. It’s only a matter of time before studies start revealing all the unique ways vaping fucks up your body.

I vape CBD/Marijuana for my pain. It’s a godsend. I’m looking into a dry herb vaporizer but they run $200 and it’s tough to find actual dry herb with high CBD, it’s mostly in vape cartridges.

Vaping is the new “legal high” or leaded petrol situation. Poorly understood and studied so people think the benefits sold to you by the companies behind it (in this case, formerly dying tobacco companies who’ve found an easier way to sell shit) make it seem worthwhile when down the line it turns out to be a nightmare

Vapers, like cigarette smokers before them, are annoying and rude. We gradually pushed and shunned cigarette smokers from public places and polite society; vaping was always on borrowed time.

Another person whose grave I would happily dance on.

If you read this article and think "he was possibly a difficult individual” no one cares about your opinion.

Yup. See also: Antonin Scalia.

I remember when the whole “nappy-headed hos” comment happened. It was fascinating to see the blowback because honestly up until then (2007) it seemed like something someone could get away with saying in public/on air. It was one of those moments where it seemed like the broader culture kind of agreed that, no, in
