Diocese can’t afford lazy accounting with all of the lawsuits from sexual assault and child abuse lawsuits. They are going financially bankrupt from the delayed consequences of their moral and ethical bankruptcy.

So, to review: Molest kids and you get moved, hidden, lied for, covered up, protected. For years. By everyone, all the way to the top.

So? That people have been doing something for thousands of years because they didn’t know better is not a very good argument. Women couldn’t vote or own property in my culture for thousands of years.
