Managers in these scenarios need to learn how to ask the offended party this simple question: “Is there anything we can do to make this up to you? I mean, besides firing the racist jerk, which I’m clearly going to do.”

I just have a real hard time believing Dr. Blasey-Ford would make that up, and if she wasn’t 100% sure it was blackout Brett, she wouldn’t accuse him on a sort of maybe. That kind of shit really never happens, it just doesn’t, unless some psycho is getting something out of the deal.

If you don’t believe Blasey-Ford*; and I can agree there are a lot of things that will never be definitively proven given the passage of time, Kavanaugh is still an intemperate, partisan who’s apparently made a list of untrue statements, always in his own interests.

I had a friend who drove pizza for a long time. The way she described it, pizza delivery is full of misfits, to put it kindly. She has worked with active alcoholics and addicts who are driving shifts, people who slack and steal, people who do dumb shit for laughs, including making overtly misogynist and/or racist

She brought it to the manager’s attention and the racist employee was terminated.

I believe (for now) she did enter his apartment mistakenly.

Why do people keep writing racial slurs and other offensive remarks on receipts? What do they hope to gain from it? Do they just hate their jobs but would rather get fired than quit? Are their coworkers genuinely amused by it? I’m honestly confused by this behavior.

Agree. Also glad this baby is not being dangled over the rail of the balcony.

We don’t need the tapes to understand how or why Jean was shot. Guyger, like all cops, has been trained from day one to react reflexively with the use of force in any situation where compliance from an individual is less than 100%. I believe (for now) she did enter his apartment mistakenly. I also believe that the

Wouldn’t want to hold the people with the badges, guns, and mob-reminiscent union to be held to a higher standard than some man who never had so much as a jaywalking ticket; especially when the stupid/high/overtired/allofit woman with the gun busted into his apartment and shot him while he was just watching tv.

Not only that they tried him in the court of public opinion, but that they know if they release the tapes it will make her look worse. The public might want them to increase the charges to capital murder so she gets fast tracked to the chair. If those calls say she was banging on his door to be let in it kills her “I

“In Guyger’s case, the District Attorney’s office is claiming that releasing the calls could compromise the investigation, and make it more difficult to get a trial in Dallas.”

Those records were denied for myriad reasons, the News writes, including concern from Dallas PD that their release would mean “an unwanted invasion of personal privacy”

That was the storm troopers from the OT. The ones in these episodes are actually babies who are taken by the First Order and brainwashed / manipulated into following orders.

The Empire’s troopers were clones. That doesn’t mean the First Order’s were.

Given that family, I would hazard that she was molested by both her brothers for years, and has that “I lived through it, so you have to!” attitude.

I like “Nobody has a problem with his judicial record.” Like, there are a buuunch of people who have a big problem with that judicial record - but do we need to drill down on his judicial record when he’s a multiple perjurer, a serial addict with no signs of treatment, and (apparently) an unrepentant sexual predator?

“She’s scared to death of prison,” Weaver said.

Buckshot Becky. That is fucking beautiful.
