I see a lot of hate for Man Of Steel, but why is this not getting any love (hate)?

Suggestion: read the book(s). They tried to squeeze too much into the movie, so none of it ends up getting the time/exposition it needs. (I've only read the first book; might have to read it again, then the rest of the saga).

Honestly if you'd read Hurley and Leckie's books, I don't think you'd be asking that question...

Here's my problem with "God." We have defined such a being as having such enormous, physics-defying powers that it is impossible for God to exist. I don't believe in God because it is impossible for God to exist as we have defined it.

These are all good points, but you missed one.

That's...a really interesting idea, not gonna lie. If they ever adapt it, that's probably the best way to go. However, my main reasons for hesitancy still remain; it's perfect in its comic form, and it is very very much a product of its time. Doing it now would, I think, feel very dated.
