@Erich Schmidt: Copy/paste from other replies of mine because I can't keep up with all the people that don't understand airport security:

@ether3a1: You're missing the point. These security measures are not there to stop terrorism. They're there to make civilian air travel and airports safer, specifically, and less vulnerable to terrorism.

@scottjl: I made this point in another reply, but I'll make it again here.

@Mpowered: You're right. The locked cockpit doors would work perfectly against shoe bombs, underwear bombs, etc.

@warpl00001: If the TSA determines that they have sufficient reason to do something that extreme, I'm ok with it. They should have one officer per terminal that is specially trained to handle those situations.

@Prey521: @Prey521: The big point that you're not considering that these measures act as *deterrents*. Simply by being there, the bad guys have to find other methods to attack us. Does that or does that not make air travel safer? Of course it does! Mission accomplished.

@cmdtacos: Feel free to elaborate. What's the most important reason to be concerned?

@MAdmin: You're a bit off on this.

@Oleg Simkin: Haven't heard that a million times.

I'm angry at all of the people that are angry about this.

Please start watching Jersey Shore. Please start watching Jersey Shore. Please start watching Jersey Shore.

T&S was supposed to be 100% CG, and then it was revealed that...not really. Mostly, yeah, but not all. For the most part he had source images and put CG overlays on them.

@stewibone: "gritty, serious, and believable."

@Enorym: Jesus. Really? federalreserve.gov might be your first clue.

@Enorym: I work in finance, and my former roommate works at the NY fed.

@Enorym: The fed is an arm of the federal government. It is not under contract. You are a moron.
