@Rhapsodos: @Rhapsodos: What case/cpu/cooling do you currently have? 62-64C is pretty hot for idle.

@Chu Cѳncэpciѳn: As long as the fans continue to circulate oil it should last just as long as any other well cooled system.

My issue with these systems is the fans. The video won't load for me at work, but typically people have their PSUs and a number of fans in the mineral oil as well.

@campiosa: Wouldn't a high specific heat impair heat transfer? Wouldn't you *want* that heat to be picked up quickly and carried away?

@Aquifel: Moving parts, and it's not water tight.

Wow, I would NOT have put Stephanie's full name up there. She's going to have to go private now.

@Necrotoxin: I didn't say that. Can you show me where I said that?

@k386: Makes more sense. My response stands as well.

@blash: The US highway system was created to move the army, yes, but the VAST majority of roadway was not paved for defense purposes. It was paved for interstate commerce.

@NickAVV: I agree. I never made a statement in this thread that opposes your point of view.

@S1MPD1DDY: You're right. I suppose any punch would just slip right off them.

@electro onix: Thanks. I like the way you put it in your last paragraph. Very succinct.

@mullse01: You can't change people. I just walked away.

@k386: Just being condescending does not make someone a hipster. My dad would be a hipster if that were the case. The dude is 70.

@NickAVV: A cold war and a hot war are somewhat different, don't you think?

@nahde: The first mechanical computer was created in the 1830s. That's what I was referring to. I suppose you could nitpick, but it does compute.

@Necrotoxin: The first mechanical computer was made in the 1830s. Look it up.

@mullse01: Meh. Starting a physical confrontation would have been bothersome.

@KillerKoala: Maybe industrially, not technologically. The space race really brought a lot of modern technology into our homes.
